Commons Park Habitat Restoration

Habitat Restoration

Members of OZ Architecture teamed with staff from Shaffer Baucom Engineering and the Volunteers for Outdoors Colorado to aid in the clean-up of Commons Park in downtown Denver.  The Commons Park Habitat Restoration project included clean up of river banks, trails, and overgrown brush throughout the park.  It also included preservation efforts of some native Colorado grasses and trees.  The clean-up lasted most of the afternoon and was followed by a happy hour celebration at Jackson’s with food and beverages provided by Colorado Native Brewing Company.
