Reinvention for The Bindery

Originally built in 1927 as a steel foundry at 2901 Blake Street, for the last 40 years The Bindery housed a printing press and bindery. Joining the renaissance of the surrounding RiNo neighborhood, the building is now being repurposed as creative office and retail space. The original brick building with riveted steel trusses is being cleaned and restored. On the interior, large open bays are naturally lit by original steel-sashed clerestory glazing overhead. New storefront and overhead doors throughout the space will add additional illumination, opening the building to the streetscape. Repurposed for the next century, the renovated Bindery will reclaim its place as part of the unique urban fabric in one of Denver’s booming north metro neighborhoods.
