OZ Announces Three New Principals

OZ Architecture recently promoted three talented architects, designers and thought leaders to Principal. These outstanding individuals inspire those around them and play a vital role in the firm’s commitment to design excellence and project and firm management. The newest Principals — Susan Kohuth, Dan Miller, and Jami Mohlenkamp — represent multiple practice areas and disciplines at OZ Architecture and reflect the ongoing growth and diversity of the firm.

Their promotions recognize the outstanding service these talented leaders provide our clients around the globe by building world-class teams and delivering exceptional results. OZ recruits the best talent, sharpens their skills through ongoing education and mentoring programs, and promotes the best from within. Our commitment to career advancement was reflected in the recent “Best Companies to Work For” award we received from ColoradoBiz Magazine, and is certainly also reflected in this year’s group of new principals.

Susan Kohuth has a 16-year tenure at OZ which has afforded her extensive experience with a wide range of projects and design teams. Susan works directly with OZ’s clients to develop each project’s unique architectural vision and strategy for development. Her passion for both thoughtful design and commitment to its execution has fueled OZ’s Workplace Design practice, resulting in recognized projects such as the Gates Customer Solution Center, United States Olympic Committee Headquarters, and the Trimble Navigation Rocky Mountain Regional Office.

Dan Miller approaches architectural design with passion, patience and inter-disciplinary rigor. His design expertise and 15-year history with the firm make him uniquely suited for direct involvement in all of the firm’s work, overseeing architecture and design on a diverse portfolio of projects including K-12 schools, libraries, multi-family housing, resort and hospitality, and urban planning. Dan has planned OZ client projects around the globe – from the hottest (Death Valley, CA) to the coldest (Antarctica) places on earth.

Jami Mohlenkamp brings a unique design perspective to our Senior Living practice – an area that seeks to elevate the daily residential rituals of aging populations from the mundane to the sublime. Jami joined OZ in 2000 and his 15-years as an architect has provided him with extensive experience on a wide range of projects and design teams. Jami is passionate about thoughtful, well-executed design, and in addition to project responsibilities, he is involved in firm initiatives related to growth and staff development.
