In an article written for the local Colorado Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, OZ Architect, Julie Zielinski, reveals the many ways sustainable design can be used to visually to engage the spirit. She discusses how both materials and design solutions can access our humanistic connections to our surroundings. When we see thought and care in our designed spaces, perhaps there is more motivation to activate that same spirit within ourselves and our living world.
Julie includes several OZ projects as examples including The Loading Dock’s use of Cross Laminated Timber, Trimble’s use of natural light, and St. Vrain Community Hub’s use of an inviting grand staircase. Julie’s innovative perspective reflects our company-wide emphasis on forward-thinking and sustainability in design.
