Denver Design Week is just around the corner and this year’s program is chalk full of innovators and creatives sharing their insights about design and it’s influence throughout our growing city. As stewards of our communities, OZ Architecture embraces Denver Design Week as an opportunity to learn about what is going on around us and to bring our forward thinking to the table. Get involved July 15th-21st! The programming includes a plethora of sessions and conversations to be a part of with a wide spectrum of topics in design.
On Monday, July 17th, OZ Associate and lead designer, Nate Jenkins, will be a part of a panel discussion about affordable housing solutions for the growing population. As housing prices skyrocket and as the city continues to attract more and more millennials, affordable housing solutions are in high demand. Nate has an extensive understanding of the design process from development to construction and is currently leading OZ’s design efforts on several high-visibility micro-unit projects around Denver. He recently revealed some of these forward-thinking designs in an article, “Upending the micro-housing myth in Denver”, published in ColoradoBiz Magazine. Don’t miss this poignant panel discussion, Monday at 10:45am at the CU-Denver College of Architecture and Planning on 14th Street. Find out more information and purchase tickets for the event here.
