This multi-use concept design was developed to further engage a corner of Denver’s RiNo neighborhood by strengthening pedestrian connectivity and offering innovative workspace for the communities fast-growing business industry. 36th and Brighton Boulevard intended to integrate the surrounding environment through transparency and a convergence of indoor to outdoor spaces with the understanding that visual contact with one’s community and with nature is a vital part of today’s working culture. The design would also transform formerly idle building spaces such as entrances, waiting areas, and corridors into creative pockets for pop-up shops, independent workspace, or inspired art installations.
