With some of the best skiing in Colorado, Winter Park has long been a winter draw to skiers and visitors.  When Winter Park’s owner, the City of Denver, and Intrawest Placemaking created a joint venture to expand the visitor experience, a vision for a year-round resort was born.  The Winter Park Village core was one phase in a 12-year plan.  The heart of the new base village, the area has two new Lodge buildings with 2 more in future phases, 40,000 sf of retail, high-end residential lofts located in the heart of the Village, an arrival plaza, a waterfront plaza adjacent to a new skating pond, a cabriolet from the parking lot which includes pedestrian drop-off, skier services inside the retail Village, and three levels of structured public parking.  The Village has helped position Winter Park as a popular all-season destination for visitors and Colorado residents alike.
