OZ Architecture’s 250 Columbine Project Design Recognized in 5280 Magazine

In an article appropriately titled “Building a Newer (Cooler) Denver,” Denver’s 5280 Magazine calls 250 Columbine in Cherry Creek North one of “The 20 Commercial Real Estate Projects You Need to Know About.”

The magazine praises the development’s key design elements, including its ability to gracefully mix a variety of uses – retail, residential and office spaces – and ample square footage into one structure without visually dominating the surrounding neighborhood’s sight lines.

The magazine asks, “So how do you make a block-long building look dainty? By gradually raising the roof from three stories along East Third Avenue to seven stories along East Second Avenue,” something OZ Architecture achieved through the development of a unique, terraced “stair-step” exterior.
