OZ Principal Architect Jami Mohlenkamp has been chosen as one of Denver Business Journal’s 2017 40 honorary personalities under 40 years of age.
Each year, the Denver Business Journal (DBJ) honors an accomplished and influential group of winners with this special distinction. Now in its 21st year, the 2017 “40 Under 40” awards honor a hand-picked cohort from 307 nominees which represent the Denver metro area’s brightest business professionals 39-years-old or younger. This awards program recognizes outstanding individuals for their business success as well as their contributions to the local community.
Jami Mohlenkamp was educated at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental design. With more than 17 years’ experience—including 12 at OZ Architecture—Jami leads the Senior Living Practice Area at OZ as a staunch proponent of innovative design for the aging. With expertise in independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, Jami shares his extensive knowledge of senior living in each and every plan and project he takes on. In collaboration with the talented Senior Living design team at OZ, Jami helped create the national Aging-In-Place Toolkit, which offers design guidelines to better serve aging adults living in residences not specifically designed for senior living.
Jami’s designs naturally lend a sense of wellness and well-being, and he takes an innovative and compassionate approach to senior living design. We at OZ are proud to call Jami one of our own. Jami and the other 40 Under 40 winners were honored at an event on March 16, 2017. Read more about Jami and his award here.
