Harvest is a reimagined restaurant located within the Sonnenalp club in Edwards, Colorado just outside of Vail. The design converted a members-only restaurant into a fresh mountainous gathering place that provides comfort to club members and engages with locals and visitors alike. Whether enjoying an intimate dinner, a cocktail with friends, or a lively wedding reception, the restaurant is now an inviting destination nestled within the mountainous valley.

The floor plan is open and welcoming, taking advantage of the mountain views. The layout offers a variety of seating areas, all flexible, to ensure members are able to utilize all spaces. At the heart of the restaurant is the bar designed with a “U” shape which allows guests to engage from all angles.

The pantry, located steps from the wellness center, serves as a juice bar and a salad and sandwich grab-and-go station. An open kitchen was incorporated to help communicate the healthy, fresh, straightforward menu.  High ceilings and a skylight let natural light pour down on the open kitchen area.

The Parlor and dining areas were opened up, to include a lounge seating area and community table, while the Study area of the Parlor doubles as rentable space for events.

Because a harvest is communal, special attention was paid to providing several areas that foster social interaction. The word also evokes a sense of celebration – this was communicated through vibrant color palettes and patterns on both tile and upholstery for a modern interpretation of a classic provincial style. It is convivial with an energy that brings the space to life.
