The starting point for sweeping improvements to this highly ranked ski area, The Village was completed over a five year period and is the first resort village to become LEED Certified. Iron Horse North and South address key arrival points and create an authentic Western Sierra Nevada character for the Village in the spirit of the grand lodges of our National Parks. The second phase incorporated the Great Bear Lodge with 28 residences and includes a skier service building with ticketing, restaurants, day care, theater, and retail all connected to the ski slopes. An outdoor ice rink serves as a focal point for the Village and is the apres-ski location of choice for visitors. The final Village phase includes 116 residential units, a private residence club, restaurants, retail, and additional fitness and spa amenities.
