Colorado Construction & Design Covers Platte Fifteen’s CLT Structure

September 17, 2018

Colorado Construction & Design took a dive into our design of Platte Fifteen in Denver's LoHi neighborhood. The focus of the article is the building’s unique CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) structural system allowing for an aesthetically warm exposed structure without sacrificing the strength of steel.

Platte Fifteen is a five-story office building that blends a historically inspired brick-facade to modern glass topped with sprawling views of downtown Denver and the Platte River. It will be Denver's first building to use CLT and as OZ Associate Principal Amanda Johnson states, "They may not know it yet, but the people who occupy this building are going to love it. "
