The Four Seasons Vail Resort's Chalet ski concierge and club facility is conveniently located within a two-minute walk from Gondola One. The Four Seasons Chalet project team worked diligently through November of last year to ensure the project was completed in time for the ski season.
Leveraging prior experience with the Resort and an established relationship with the Owner’s Representative, our firm was selected as Architect of Record in partnership with Studio Collective of Venice, CA. Together, we reimagined this property—which was once a Chinese restaurant with several renovations since—by integrating Four Seasons Vail branding and Nordic-inspired luxury, revitalizing its character.
The lower level features a locker room with custom floor-to-ceiling white oak lockers, Chilewich flooring, and an enhanced, brighter ambiance. The middle level functions as a Gorsuch Retail rental store, catering to club members, distinguished by custom-painted ski rack panels, perforated metal panel walls, and a pivot-hinge door. The upper level offers a lounge adorned with white oak paneling across floors, walls, and ceiling; a self-service amenity counter; an Ortal fireplace; and diverse seating options, including a dedicated children’s area. Exterior upgrades reflect the Four Seasons Vail Resort brand palette, featuring expanded patio French doors and a new stacking four-panel door with a juliette balcony at the lounge.
