Victory Ranch Resort Profiled in Wall Street Journal

The Wall Street Journal published a feature article on the OZ- designed Victory Ranch Resort, a private, four-season community set amidst 6,700 pristine acres near Deer Valley and Park City, Utah.

The article highlights the allure of ski towns in the summer months which OZ’s resort design team recognizes as a critical aspect of every mountain development. Reporter Katy McLaughlin describes why Victory Ranch is so alluring, with its 18-hole golf course, clubhouses, mountain-biking trails and restaurant that create a five-star destination on the 6,700-acre property.

OZ Architecture was involved in envisioning the project’s master plan, programming and amenities. OZ also designed the guest lodging—known as the River Cabins, where guests can fly fish while on the property—as well as the schematic design for the lodge, pool, meeting rooms and outfitter. This included floor plans, elevation renderings and other design schematics. OZ also developed the prototype for residential single-family units as the architect of record.

This project represents OZ’s flexibility, and its ability to cross into the realm of design architecture—that is, developing creative luxury front-end designs rather than just providing the architecture.

With our decades of experience executing exciting designs, we are happy to have experiences like these that showcase our ability to lead, envision and develop thoughtful spaces from architectural design to interiors.
