In late 2018, OZ Architecture Principal Jami Mohlenkamp was accepted into two prestigious leadership communities: LeadingAge Colorado’s Emerging Leaders program and TAG 314 Aging Societies
During the 2018 LeadingAge Colorado Holiday Luncheon, the state’s largest association of senior living and care providers toasted the organization’s 50th anniversary, installed 2019 board leaders, and announced its inaugural class of Emerging Leaders, a new program designed to help advocate for, educate and connect people in aging communities and industries in the Colorado and beyond.
This esteemed group launched with 12 handpicked leaders from around the state, and includes OZ Architecture’s own Jami Mohlenkamp. With his experience in and passion for designing older adult communities, we know Jami will be an important part of this distinguished new cohort.
That’s not all. In late 2018, Jami was also invited to join a technical advisory group on Aging Societies known as TAG 314. An international committee including representatives from 30 different countries and part of the International Organization for Standardization, TAG 314 reviews high-level standards related to older adults and aging communities, among other topics. Jami’s involvement will no doubt lend interesting insights and potentially influential opportunities when it comes to new standards of design for older adults.
