Last week, we finalized our annual promotion process with the party to celebrate the newest OZ leadership promotion! These individuals have been recognized for their excellent work and essential contributions to the firm’s reputation for design excellence worldwide. They represent various practice areas and projects and exemplify OZ’s up-and-coming leadership.
Every year at OZ, we undergo a formal and thorough process of nominating and confirming promotions to Associate, Senior Associate, Associate Principal, and Principal. This process encapsulates one of our core pillars—the OZ Continuum.
It is always a positive process and is our collective way of identifying current and future firm leaders. This group was nominated by OZ Associates through Principals and is recognized for their unique attributes and contribution to the greater firm through their individual talents. In addition to this list, we had 19 people advance in their current roles (Arch 1 to Arch 2, PM to Sr. PM, etc.)
Thank you to all these individuals for taking on more responsibility, contributing to OZ and our collective futures at a higher level, and advancing their individual skills and the firm simultaneously. Special congratulations to the following, who are being promoted in 2024!
The newest OZ Principal is Joe Anastasi. Principals exemplify leadership in their project work, teams, and strategy. In addition, they build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and embody OZ’s mission, vision, and values carried through in their work.
Giria Briceño and Darrin Jensen were promoted to Associate Principal. Associate Principals oversee project work and execution. They serve as leaders, role models, and mentors for other staff and enhance the firm by offering specific technical talent as a resource to the company.
Holly Hall, Erin Hoffman, David Knapp, Keenan Robles, and Jon Yates were promoted to Senior Associates. Senior Associates exhibit internal and external leadership qualities to enhance core business elements. They develop and demonstrate exceptional knowledge and skills that advance the firm internally and externally.
Seven employees were promoted to Associate: Eric Anderson, Kiley Baham, Brent Carr, Erica Lax, Tim Ross, Christine Ulerich, and Wendy Wright. Associates participate in a highly engaged level of teamwork and have an exceptional ability to carry work forward. Their quality of work is outstanding, showcasing creativity and innovation in their expertise.
