Tour of LOT 28

Saturday, October 13, 2018, 9 -10 a.m. (LOT 28 - 28th and Blake Streets)

Participants will have the opportunity to tour LOT 28, a redevelopment by OZ Architecture in collaboration with Wenk Associates. The guided tour of the 45,000-square-foot former warehouse located at the intersection of 28th and Blake Streets will include the 20,000-square-foot urban outdoor patio and 2,400 square feet of dedicated interior private and public event space. How the Sharing Economy is Shaping the Future of Design

This session will explore the notion of the “sharing economy,” in which we own fewer things and share more resources within our community. OZ Architecture Principal Kelly Davis, along with Urban Villages’ John Buerge, will discuss how the places we live, work, and play will shift to adapt to the “less is more” lifestyle.
