OZ Architecture’s Rick Petersen, FAIA recently participated in an international symposium on Antarctic Development in London.

Hosted by the research group Antarctica 200 Polar Lab, a series of panel and lectures took place at the Architecture Association, and included designers of 11 countries’ Antarctic stations.

Rick shared OZ Architecture’s design for McMurdo Station, which provides logistical support for scientific inquiry across the continent though the National Science Foundation, and topics included Sustainability, Permanence, and Isolation.
