akin Golden Triangle

Inspired by a desire to create a pause in the architectural landscape, akin Golden Triangle cleverly stitches together programmatic uses and functions of the building with a cohesive exterior. By visually connecting the buildings to the south and soon to the north, movement is generated, and unique character is revealed. Utilizing traditionally more rigid and heavier material, brick delicately drapes the building’s mass while also being anchored by a transparent base, spine and top. An intricately patterned ‘veil’ honors the design guidelines of the Golden Triangle neighborhood, while taking a new angle to the built form of the Arts District.
