Sun Valley Block 3 marks the first phase in the transformation of one of Denver’s most culturally vibrant neighborhoods. Designed by OZ in partnership with the Denver Housing Authority, the project delivers 358 affordable homes for families, seniors, and active adults, supporting a more inclusive and resilient community.
OZ’s design connects housing to a broader network of open space, linking residents to the riverfront through landscaped plazas, pedestrian pathways, and active ground-floor uses. Distinct residential components, including the Joli and Flo buildings and the townhomes, introduce a mix of housing types and community-focused amenities that support daily life and long-term stability. Block 3 demonstrates how architecture can shape equitable urban development through thoughtful planning, integrated public space, and design that reflects and supports the character of the Sun Valley community.
