2400 Central epitomizes contemporary office architecture. This three-story commercial marvel embodies sustainability and outdoor activation, crafted to harmonize with its surroundings. Driven by a vision of creating vibrant, usable spaces, the design team orchestrated a symphony of forms, stacking and offsetting elements to carve out inviting outdoor amenities on upper levels. Additionally, the building features increased landscaping and an extensive array of photovoltaic panels to enhance its sustainability profile. The choice of materials reflects a commitment to longevity and authenticity, paying homage to the area’s historical context. Architecturally, 2400 Central is a study in elegant simplicity, marrying striking concrete panel façades with clear glazing. A wooden glulam trellis is a welcoming focal point at the primary entry, imbuing the space with natural warmth. As the site lies adjacent to the 100-year floodplain and lacks stormwater infrastructure, our team collaborated closely with multiple site engineering groups to enhance drainage, implement rainwater capture, and establish water quality treatment zones. By integrating rainwater capture systems and sustainable materials, we’ve minimized the environmental footprint while enhancing efficiency and comfort for its tenants.
