CityWay is a mixed-use urban project that establishes a sustainable neighborhood center, creating an engaging transition to surrounding established neighborhoods. From early conceptual design through community and stakeholder meetings to several projects currently in design, creating a welcoming sense of place has guided the vision through every phase of development.
The overall site includes 1 million sf of residential, a wellness center, lodging, educational uses, retail and parking structures. Connections to future rapid transit developments and existing bike trails are key elements to providing a “heart and soul” for the community.
CityWay Phase 2 was a continuation of the CityWay neighborhood in downtown Indianapolis which OZ began with Buckingham Development. Phase 2 is composed of two distinct projects – the tower and the low-rise buildings. The tower has 80 high-end residential units on eight floors, plus a rooftop amenity lounge and deck, built atop a 6-story parking garage which was constructed in Phase 1. The low-rise project includes 223 market rate units in three buildings with amenity space and underground parking.
