Rio Tinto Minerals (RTM) is the world’s largest producer of salt, boron and talc. RTM selected Greenwood Village, Colorado as the location for their new corporate headquarters, merging the existing subsidiaries of US Borax (Valencia, CA) and Luzenac America (Centennial, CO). OZ designed the new HQ facility and 20,000 sf Research & Development lab utilizing elements of the RTM Global Workplace Standards to create a new corporate identity for RTM. Throughout the space, product integration was utilized incorporating materials manufactured by RTM customers. The completed space provides a backdrop of clean lines, colors and materials without the excess often associated with a corporate headquarters.
