The Rose Andom Center is the Rocky Mountain region’s first wrap-around services center for victims of domestic violence, providing integrated support for survivors of intimate partner violence and their families. OZ worked with the client to centralize services of twenty different providers including legal, medical, housing, and psychological help. The Rose Andom Center now simplifies the process and improves outcomes for over 3,000 clients affected by domestic violence each year in Denver.
The overriding goal was to create a welcoming, home-like atmosphere complete with a kitchen and living-dining room to reestablish a calming family setting. The facility is located on two levels, with a secure ground floor entry. The Clients are brought up to the second floor where all the agencies can meet the clients in a safe and welcoming room. The facility has been a model for subsequent facilities in other Cities.
