The Upper Pine River Fire Protection District engaged OZ to help envision and design a new Joint Public Safety Facility, including a new fire station and community clinic. The fire station side of the building includes 4 apparatus bays, decontamination zones, an office/ watch room, separated living quarters, a fitness center, building support spaces, and a multi-purpose training/ community room. The community clinic includes a waiting area, private exam rooms, an office, an X-ray room, a lab, an employee breakroom, and an ambulance bay. The community paramedic services will enhance the standard EMS services provided to the district. The project intends to anticipate evolving community needs, centralize public safety services, enhance the area’s resilience, and ensure community service for generations.
